These compounds are being detected almost everywhere and are bioaccumulating in human body tissues. GenX – also known by its chemical compound name Hexafluoropropylene Oxide Dimer Acid (HFPO-DA) – has gained attention in recent years, along with other related-PFAS compounds.

The stability and persistence of these compounds makes them a lifetime concern as even extremely low levels have been shown to have negative health effects in humans and can bioaccumulate over time.

This water test package provides the required materials to properly collect and submit a sample for certified laboratory testing. Reported results will include detailed, quantified analysis of 18 PFAS compounds by EPA Method 537 (or equivalent) down to concentrations below 2 parts per trillion (ppt).
